FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Please reach out if you have questions that aren't answered here.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

After you book your first appointment I will send an intake form where you can share any pain or health conditions that should be considered during the massage. This helps me to understand your needs - please fill it out online beforehand.

Once you arrive, we will talk briefly about what you would like to focus on for the session. If you are receiving craniosacral therapy you will remain clothed so wear clothes you will be comfortable in while on the table. For other styles of massage you can undress to your comfort and we can discuss how the treatment will be adjusted based on your needs.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I do not take insurance, but I am more than happy to provide a superbill, which is what you would need to submit a claim to your insurance company. You will need to get a diagnosis code or referral for massage from a provider who can diagnose - primary care providers or chiropractors, for example. You will also want to review your coverage to learn wehther you have out-of-network massage benefits. This will also tell you what percentage the insurance company wiht reimburse you, if any. You will pay in full for the visit and be reimbursed by your insurance company for any portion they cover.

DO YOU TAKE PIP COVERAGE OR WORK WITH PEOPLE AFTER CAR ACCIDENTS?

I know how painful and disruptive car accidents can be! Similar to other isurance, I do not bill auto insurance. Talk with your adjustor to find out if they will reimburse you for out of pocket costs. I have treated clients who were in car accidents and support them to reduce pain, address injury, and resume their regular activities.
